Welcome to the WAASF website, Wolmerians and Friends of Wolmer's!

We are dedicated to sharing information and preserving the rich traditions of Wolmer’s Schools.

In 2024, we proudly celebrated our 27th anniversary. WAASF continues to strengthen its
commitment to supporting the Wolmer’s Schools, fostering connections with hundreds of alumni
spanning graduation years from the 1950s to the early 2000s.

Our monthly meetings offer a range of discussion topics, occasional guest speakers, and
Association updates, providing opportunities for fellowship, networking, and planning. We keep
our members informed through regular online posts, social media (Facebook, Instagram,
WhatsApp, Twitter), Zoom, email, and even traditional phone calls. We welcome donations to
Wolmer’s Schools and the ongoing No Wolmerian Walks Alone project. Wolmer's memorabilia
can be purchased through our online store and offline.

This website serves as a platform to keep members and friends of Wolmer’s informed about our
activities and upcoming events. Our fundraising efforts are focused on supporting both
Wolmer’s Boys’ School and Wolmer’s Girls’ School, particularly projects that enhance the
learning environment for current students.

In celebration of Wolmer's 295th anniversary, we hosted our annual fundraising gala at the
Doubletree Hilton Hotel Sunrise-Sawgrass on Saturday, July 20, 2024. Additionally, our
fundraising party "Crossroads" was held on April 27, 2024 at the Entertainment Center in
Margate, and our Thanksgiving Service took place at the New Life Fellowship Center in Sunrise
on September 22, 2024.

WAASF also supports a scholarship program benefiting over 28 students at Wolmer’s Boys and
Wolmer’s Girls. We provide scholarships to Wolmerian graduates pursuing further education,
with six students annually receiving support for studies primarily in Jamaica and the USA.

We remain focused on our mission and the purpose of our organization. As we strive to
increase our impact, we invite all Wolmerians to get involved—together, we can continue to
support our alma mater and improve the high school experience for current students, especially
those facing financial challenges.

Wolmer's will mark its 300th anniversary in 2029, and we are thrilled to be involved in the
celebrations and ongoing projects being planned by the Wolmer's Trust. We look forward to
keeping our members informed with updates in the months ahead.
